Today, I will talk about make up. (OoooOoooo.....)

Well, sad to say I've only discovered make up recently. Can you imagine the number of times I could have looked good? I used to just wear liner and walk into a club. I used to go bare face into a shopping mall. I would have loved to know so much more about make up then, but nobody around me seem to share their tricks with me so I totally forgot about that until recently (when I say recently means last year) when I bought a couple of liners, and played around with fake eyelashes that I realized how one can transform under minimal (when I say minimal means very simple make up steps) cosmetic usage.

However, be warned girls (for those who hasn't realize the wonders of make up YET!) that once you've discovered this, and how great you look with smoky eyes or how sexy your lips looks poutifully gorgeous, THIS IS AN ADDICTION.

I've been hooked already. I can't go to an event with just an eye liner anymore. I can't even attend my own parent's birthday celebration without any make up on. I just refuse to be seen without anything on my face. The least I put on now is just foundation and blusher. Well except that I do my weekly groceries without lah, who puts make up when buying vege at Jusco right?!

Anyway, back to the point.

With great make up products, you will be sure that your skin is well taken care of. Make sure to double the make up remover when you try taking off your mascara. It's really important to strip your face naked off make up because if you don't clean properly, you'll suffer the consequences! (muahahahahaahaa) I am not joking. I've gotten stye twice already and that is because I didn't clean my eye make up properly.

So today, I want to talk about the basic make up essentials and for today's product, we shall introduce the new Laura Mercier's Portofino Collection!

Sheer Crème Glow

This ultra-sheer, blendable face colour highlighter, part of the Portofino Collection, was inspired by Laura's work with celebrity clients, who wanted a product to "wake up" their skin and give them an immediate healthy glow.

This can be used after your foundation. I find that liquid foundation is the best because it blends real easy compared to powdered foundation and it covers like 90% of any uneven spots on your face!

Eye Colour Palette

Laura Mercier Riviera Eye Colours is an eye shadow palette containing four 'of the moment' shades, with a custom design from the Portofino collection.

Black is always a MUST for eye shadows. ALWAYS! and you have to have grey, dark blue, dark brown, white for bottom and top glow and probably light colored ones like rose or light brown.

Tightline Cake Eye Liner

Eye liner, never get pencil liner for your eyes because they smudge like, in the mid of the day. They never last and the best is always liquid or cake because they are thick and they make drawing easy as well. Oh, make sure your liner is smudge proof too because not all liquid or cake liners are smudge proof, they tend to crack under heat or if you have oily skin.
