Vanish

So the other day when I loaded my laundry in for a wash, little did I know that the hubs threw in a brand new BLUE shirt that he bought from BKK. Just came back from Bangkok not long ago and it was superb. Shopping heaven, cheap clothes, amazing coffee and the food was yums. Anyway, everyone knows that you don't mix colored clothing with whites but accidents happen so, imagine the horror when I found this :

A very white shirt with blue stains. Very bad blue stains actually.

Thank Heavens, someone introduced me to Vanish not long ago and I had it on the shelf, untouched.

VANISH POWER O2 POWDER & VANISH POWER O2 CRYSTAL WHITE POWDER

Truthfully, I adore the colors. Simply love how they are both available in compact sizes, which makes storage easy. Both comes with a scoop as well and doesn't require you to "guess how much you are pouring into the washing machine" everytime you do the laundry.

Yes, there's a ton of laundry detergent that's out in the market. So, why Vanish? I was asking the same thing as well and ever since I've moved into my own place, I've tried countless detergents. Some doesn't really clean well, some doesnt prevent mal-odor which happens pretty frequently since I do not have a dryer and I rely on the weather to dry my clothes on the balcony. After two years, Vanish was recommended and I decided to give it a go.

NEVER LOOKED BACK.

See the results for yourself :)

Good right? I used Vanish Power 02 Crystal White Powder, since the stain was on white. The special formula contains Oxi Powerlift agents which penetrate and lift the stain first time, and also whitening ingredients to help retain a brilliant whiteness in washing.

Ever since, I've started using Vanish Power 02 Powder (which is the one in Pink) for my colored clothes and the White one with the whites.

If you're curious, Vanish is now giving out free samples. So, take this opportunity to try it out. Click here : http://bit.ly/1aIkd2I and ask for a sample which they will gladly send to your doorstep.

ALSO, there's a competition going on and great prizes to be won. All you've got to do is to register yourself, describe "Your Vanishing Trick", submit your entry and hope for the best! Get your friends and family to vote for you and you MIGHT just be the lucky winner to a brand new 32" LED TV!

AND here's where I need you to vote for mine too! All you've gotta do is click on this link and VOTE FOR ME = LIKE!

Have fun trying Vanish!

The Smasung Galaxy S4 has landed!

So last Saturday, Facebook was buzzing with the latest arrival of the new Samsung Galaxy S4. Every major Samsung outlet in Malaysia was packed with excited fans of the Galaxy and it was a thrilled to be able to experience the fine qualities of the phone myself.

Since there's an outlet nearby where I live, the hubs and I took a trip down to The Gardens. Take a look at the crowd. I had to get in line, just so I'll be able to check the Galaxy S4.

True to its' claims, this phone is best-in-class Galaxy S device designed.

Created with the understanding of what matters most in people’s lives, the GALAXY S4 is developed to redefine the way people live and maximize their fulfillment. More than that, the latest Samsung device is built to make every moment meaningful for a richer, simpler and fuller life.

What I truly love about the phone is the camera. An opportunity to capture a candid moment is an essential part of every human being's life in today's world of technology. Equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera, the GALAXY S4 enables people to take pictures in several exciting different ways.

‘Dual Shot’ allows simultaneous picture-taking of both front and rear cameras, accentuating the memory acquired by capturing the expression of cameraperson as well.
‘Drama Shot’ and ‘Sound & Shot’ are also innovative features that evoke a richer and enhanced life experience for people.
‘Animated Photo’ instills a sense of fun in people’s lives and allows people to get creative with photos. It allows the user to take a series of shots, and pick one part of the photo to move while the others stay still.

That's only 4 out of 12 outstanding shooting modes. How cool is that?

What I found interesting was the Group Play function which allows people to enjoy music, photos, documents and games without even requiring a Wi-Fi or cellular signal, increasing the ease of sharing moments with those around them. Time and time again, I've been through times when I couldn't send out an urgent email or posting up a photo to get an opinion, now this will definitely come in handy!

Get this. Samsung Smart Pause feature tracks eye movement to pause a video when the user looks away before resuming once their attention returns to the screen. Never ever miss a moment watching a video, ever again!

I've always been telling myself to eat healthy and stay well of late. This phone couldn't be more perfect because the S Health keeps users up-to-date with health and wellbeing information through its sensors which monitors health and surroundings. Also, users can easily check their health conditions using food diary, exercise diary and sleep monitor to stay fit and healthy. Wow, talk about being an all in one phone.

For those who are keen on getting the new Samsung Galaxy S4, you may check it out at any Celcom, Digi, Maxis and U Mobile, as well as Samsung Mobile Brand Shops. The phone is retailing from RM2,199 and may vary among different telco service providers. The phone itself is sold out at the moment but it'll definitely be back in stock very soon.

For further information, you can visit www.samsung.com/my and www.facebook.com/samsungmobilemalaysia.

Took a trip down to Espresso Lab for a fine cuppa cappuccino. Apart from Illy, they serve one of the best cup of cappuccino. Oh, and a splurge at Charles & Keith for this Black Sexy Pumps! OMG I freaking love this pair. Can't wait to officially wear it.

Are you ready for the next Galaxy?

I've been hearing so much about the much anticipated arrival of the Samsung Galaxy S4 lately. They had a group of ochestra performing around Selangor and Kuala Lumpur for the pre-teaser of the next Galaxy and I managed to catch one of them at Pavilion last weekend. They were stationed near the fountain, right in front of the main entrance and I've got to admit, they were really good. Even though the crowd that day seemed very much in a hurry, the orchestra managed to catch the attention of a throng of audience who were buzzing by. Everyone cheered when the performances ended and truthfully, it made me even more excited that the unveil of the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be soon. Very very soon, guys!

As it was a crazy hot day, I took shade with the hubs at Espressemente. Tried their Viennese Cappucino and it was just.... words can't describe how awesome it is... though it came in a very very small cup at RM11. I have a problem with coffee that comes in small cups actually. However, they are always good. So, no complaints there, really.

Took a little trip up to Typo. Love their stuff, some are super creative! Gotten our initials for the wedding at RM30/3pcs, which is pretty reasonable I would say. Then, only to find out that the maid of honor bought those for us for Christmas but she didn't manage to finish decorating them, so...now we have 2 initials. LOL.

So, that was my Saturday. Not very exciting except that my battery died halfway and I was trying to find a place where I can charge it but ended up leaving Pavilion so that I could charge my phone in the car. Yah.

Anyway guys, if you would like to know more about Samsung's new Galaxy S4, all the information can be found here at this link : http://bit.ly/14p1lFw

DIY-ed Projects : Lace Candle Jars

photo 2

I love how these lace candle jars turned out. They are exactly like what I've imagined. I am going with a lace themed wedding of neutrals and mostly beige. My maid of honor and bridesmaids will be in lace as well, I will be in lace, the table setting in the ballroom will be in ivory lace and I pretty much want these jars to be in lace too!

Again, I have to thank Pinterest for giving me this idea of making these jars possible. The mason jars are pretty hard to find, and so far I've only managed to come across one supplier nearby. Not really sure if there's more around but most likely there are. I don't know. Once I found this one, I didn't bother to look anymore.

During CNY, the hubs and I went to get around 120 bottles. 60 short ones and 60 tall ones. It would be nice to have a mixture of tall and short as a table center piece. As for the extras, I thought of decorating them on the reception table.

Then there's that place, Sin Wah at PJ Old Town. I mentioned earlier that they have crazy loads of stuff and I'm really not exaggerating. Here's an idea of a single lace ribbon sample column. They have another 3, so yea. However, I only managed to find the one that I really like and thankfully, it was priced at RM1.80/m as I needed 30m for all of my jars. I was quite pleased that I only had to spend a total of RM48 for the lace wrap. That was when the boss gave me a RM0.20 discount each meter for buying so much.

I really liked this one but it was RM20/m, so I had to give it up

To have everything you need to make a lace candle jar, you need a jar (duh!), lace wrap, glue gun (RM13), glue stick and a whole lot of band aid. Burnt my hand twice so far and I still have 36 more to go!

So there ya go! A simple DIY Lace Candle Jar for my wedding table centerpiece. Great for those who are on a budget, and they look stunning! Can't wait to see them all lit up on that day! 2 more months now :D
