Guess what?

While I was home alone with ABSOLUTELY nothing to do (raining, thunder, lightning, no internet, no astro), I came across this really really COOL website on my phone (only applicable to girls..really) and it felt like I've discovered a hidden treasure! seriously..#nokiddingyou

It took me only a minute..okay maybe 2 minutes doing this by following the exact tutorial Jane published on her blog.. Yeah, the author of Nailside is also Jane, don't get confused please. I'll never blog as a 3rd party, ever.

You know sometimes I really find it so weird that people refer to themselves as a 3rd party..like for example, my name is Jane so I'll probably update my Facebook status with, "Jane saw some really nice clothes on sale today, and she was wondering if she should get it.." something like that and statuses such as these really weird the crap out of me. Yeap, I just said weird.

I mean, why on earth would someone refer to themselves as their name but not, me or I?

Anyway, that was totally off topic but you get my drift right?

So, speaking of how cool Nailside is.. I TRIED one of her cloud nailart tutorial because it seemed like the least effort put in and now, I am so in love with it!!!! So try it out if you absolutely love it, only takes 2 minutes :D

KISS ME baby one more time

A while ago, this was trending on Facebook and I was instantly put into a trance by how each style captivated me.

...and the first thing that came to my mind was HEY, I CAN DO THIS!
So I did what most girls would do! (or so I assumed)
I challenged myself to try each style and then hit PRINT!
There was no turning back.

With the reminder of this meme in my head, I finally found the perfect tools to achieve what I've challenged myself to do! but first, I want all of you to be jealous by THIS bunch of beauty goodness that I have!

okay, back to the tools to achieve my challenge.

Some of the styles which were quite tediously drawn (as shown above), you'll be needing an eyeliner that has thick and thin brush to complete the entire look. Moreover, eyeliners are usually prone to be smudged when we sweat or when the weather gets humid.

So, I have to find an eyeliner that has a thin yet thick brush, sweatproof, waterproof, smudgefree, and just in case if I cry in the middle of drinking tea WTF...TEARPROOF?

IMPOSSIBRUUU!!!!

Actually not really. Watson or SASA is just the place to get everything I've mentioned above!

Why the name Heroine? Well, remember how ridiculous we thought it was when those anime heroine managed to keep their make up intact no matter how much they drench themselves in the rain or cried their hearts out, but still look as good as they were before? It was just plain IMPOSSIBLE to do that in real life!

So, my challenge for the day was the 5th style on the right row. Simple, just perfect for an open house of a friend's that I was invited to.

was berry HAPPY and so off I went!

Had some really delicious food prepared by my friend's mom. Spotted something really really cool sitting on the kitchen counter. Found out that my friend made it all by herself!


Isn't this gorgeous? She actually painted the bottle herself and made the cap too!



I've always told her that she really should pursue her artsy talent because it is really what she loves doing and probably customize this kinda stuff for people.

Made my way to Midvalley after the open house, to search for a birthday present for another friend of mine who was celebrating her birthday on that very same day, at night at Phuture.



Although it was such a humid day, I was actually surprised that my eyeliner stayed when I checked myself in the car mirror!

At long last!!! Found the perfect gift and was in need for a really good cup of coffee. So the fiance and I headed over to DOME and chilled for a while before heading back home.


Cappuccino that I ordered. Yummy!


Forgot what the fiance ordered but looked yummy!

Went home to get some rest. Had to remove my make up to give my skin a breather!




Got them all out within a second, using Bifesta Cleansing Express Moist Cleansing Lotion. Did you know that water base make up remover is always better than an oil base remover? Water base are more gentle on your skin while oil base might leave more oil than necessary and might clog pores.

After using the water base make up remover, I actually felt so refreshed! Oh, and the best thing is I didn't even need to wash my face after using this. It also acts as a cleanser. This will be really good for club goers. Imagine coming home at 5am in the morning, sleepy, tired and all you want to do is just sleep. You can do that when all you need to do is remove your make up with Bifesta Cleansing Express Moist Cleansing Lotion. SPLENDID!

Time to put the second style to a challenge! Chose 4th style from left row and had it done in no time with both KISS ME Heroine Make Impact & Smooth Liquid Eyeliners.



Added a pair of KISS ME 04 Eyelashes and I was all ready to PARTY knowing that my eyeliner will not smudge the entire night!

ILLY-MY-ASS

If you are at Scott Garden @ Old Klang Road and happened to be craving for a cup of really good coffee, do not.. i repeat, DO NOT be charmed by the looks of D'vine and their claim of illy coffee brew because that was exactly what happened to me!



It was such a casual 2nd day of Chinese New Year and all I wanted was a cup of really good coffee but I was at Scott Garden where most of the shop lots are not occupied and those which are, are mostly pubs which only open at night. I recalled seeing this really cute small outlet on the ground floor, or was it 1st, I really don't care but this place charmed me by it's really cool interior and promises of great coffee brewed by illy coffee machine and beans.

So I ordered a cup of Cappuccino (RM7.90), sat under one of their sun shaded by-the-beach umbrella thing chair and anticipated for my coffee. Right then, I noticed that the only person serving was this Indonesian lady (looks very much like a hired maid) who does not understand English, making my coffee. Shit, right?

Then I figured, it probably WILL NEVER go wrong because the machine should be pre-set to illy's standard brew and coffee beans ALSO CAN NEVER go wrong because they are coffee beans but when my cup of ... I've no idea what .... came, I WAS WRONG! like a gazillion times wrong because when it came, my coffee WAS NOT A CAPPUCCINO but maybe some rubbish brown water which the coffee machine vomited out.



First thing I noticed, no leaf presentation. Since it was a small coffee place, I managed to put that aside. Second, the cup was served with coffee spilled onto the plate. WHERE ON EARTH SERVES ILLY COFFEE LIKE THAT?!

Coffee was tasteless. Not even slightly roasted. Not enough foam or milk. Frankly speaking, IT WAS CRAP and baby did not even finish his. He said, "why pay to suffer?"



The best part, NO TEASPOON but an ice cream stick? WHAT THE FU..?

I've never been so pissed drinking a cup of RM7.90 FAKE ILLY COFFEE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! Therefore, I decided to blog about this shit hole place and would love for them to die move out of Scott Garden because Scott Garden is a developing place along Old Klang Road and we do not need this sort of crap coffee ILLY-MY-ASS place!
